decisions... decisions...
I just came back (to the library) from viewing a house not too far from uni. Hmmm... now i'm really in a dilemma, not knowing whether I should move from my current home to this place. Let's weigh out the costs...
Rental for my current place is A$80 per week, including utilities.
The other place is charging A$100 per week, including utilities, but I get a nicer and cleaner room, with a walk-in wardrobe and queen-sized bed.
My current place has no internet connection. I have to use it in uni.
The other place has wireless ADSL (unlimited perhaps?) for an extra $6.50 a week.
I currently pay to use the internet at uni anyway.
My current landlord is an
angmoh pain-in-the-arse, due to being old, smelly, forgetful, unreliable and does not fulfill any requests from tenants.
The other place's landlord is an auntie and her daughter from Brunei. They've been in Perth over 20 years now, but their Asian traits are still very much intact, they are very
niao.
My current place allows me to park my car on the grass outside.
The other place wouldn't allow me to lest my car damages her grass. I have to park by the road.
My current landlord does not live in the same house as the tenants, thus there is a lot more freedom of movement.
The other landlord will live under the same roof, and she's old, so she wants quietness. Having friends over for a cookout or drinks will definately be a thing of the past.
...
How?? How??
I can't decide!! I will have to choose between my freedom/social needs and satisfying my physical needs.
Arrgh!! *rips out his hair*
