i came home yesterday, tired from a long day at work, and a lack of sleep didn't help either. All i wanted to do was to get home, put down my things, and tuck into a hot meal. But that was not what i got. I got a message from my dad to "cook the salmon for 10 mins or until cooked"..so i thought, oh okay, salmon. But what i saw in the kitchen COMPLETELY put me off my dinner, at least for a good half an hour. IT WAS A SALMON HEAD!!!
Now don't get me wrong, i love salmon, and yes i do eat salmon head. But this one was HUGE. It was thick, it was smelly. Do you know how rude that thing was? It was just staring right at me, that smelly thing in a metal dish. I had a good mind to just throw it away cos its skin was all dry and there were ants not in the dish but around it. But well, i shouldn't complain, afterall my dad did take the effort to marinade it for me (thanks dad) so i took out a wok and shallow fried it.
Because it was so thick, i had to put it on low heat and cook it on each side till the inside was cooked.
And it was. good. Just like the words of God, "...and it was good" Haha... but there you go, fish.

bah. as some of you would have known, they've banned camera phones in all SAF camps, so i have no choice but to put up with my mom's old samsung for the next 2.5 months i have left of national service! This also means that when i see an opportunity to snap a shot at something interesting, i can only whip out my clamshell temporary samsung and pretend to shoot it. ah who am i kidding? Oh well, looks like i'm just gonna hafta describe what i saw in words and you'll just have to imagine it. Here goes...
Last sunday i saw two hamsters mating (gasp). Yes, it's true! I'm not making any of this up! We've just had dinner and were walking past a petshop when the PDA (public display of affection) started (couldn't have been more public than that!) And as i whipped out my phone, i realised the picture didn't show and it didn't make a 'cheh-cheh' sound when i pressed the middle button. It instead logged me onto the GPRS network -.-" and so i pestered my mom to pass me my old phone back (we switched) so i can shoot those randy* rodents work it out, but alas, my mother dissed me, "eh this kind of thing oso want to snap"...
*bad luck if your name's randy, Oxford defines it as "eager for sexual satisfaction".
Well there you go...guess i'll be keeping my eyes open and leaving the imagination to you guys. Alternatively, guest bloggers (you saw it here first) are welcome to submit posts!
Time out, see ya!

another night of randomness
I recently checked back at one of my other less 'publicised' blogs, the one where i share my sorrows and little secrets with somebody and nobody at the same time (yes, i actually have that other blog). What caught my attention was that not just one, but three people, had actually posted comments on my guestbook after each post, or so I thought they did. Only the first person did. He said that he'd read my blog over and found it inquisitive. He also left his own blog address on the post, and thank goodness he's not some horny-homo stalking sad kids. The other two posts were (wait for it...)... ADVERTISEMENTS... -_-" it went, "Get your degree in two weeks" and "Hey I just got a $500 gift card, you can redeem yours at..." like hullo? o.O
But ah wells, decided to do a little something FUN. I koped these questions from Angel's blog (the answers are of course my own). It's called the Random shuffle quiz.
