Days and Valentine's
Well, past few days had been eventful. From chingay to jamming projects to andrew leaving for australia. It's really all so sudden, like whoosh! and then all is calm again. It's not such a bad thing ya know? I spose i'd get used to it.

Oh and i know this pic is pretty random, but i think that it has got to be the STOOPIDEST i have ever seen. Let this be a lesson to you about the woes of miscommunication. As you can guess this picture was taken in the gents. The ironic thing (if u haven't guessed by now) is that they want toilet users to aim straight into the bowl, and not ahem, on the right side of the bowl! As you can imagine, the signboard wasn't very effective at all, with drips and draps of urine on the right side of the bowl.
All the more disgusting.
Didn't get to see much chingay that day, so instead of going to see the floats, they came to see me - literally! Well, they were transporting them from one area to the other and happened to be passing by upper serangoon road where i also happened to be, so i had a crowd-free chingay floats parade!

Did i also mention that Valentine's Day is a day of parades? Well, that's when girls who have it (or not), flaunt it! Well, i'd been observing the scenery this particular day, and noticed an increase in the number of girls dressing up, trying to look hot and sexy. Well, that's valentine's day for someone who has no valentine (bleah)...

life in pictures
I just watched FEARLESS, the Jet Li movie. Not bad, a bit like that geisha flik, a lot of talking and philosophy, but nonetheless an entertaining movie. I give it 3.5 popcorns.
Have been meaning to update this blog since before new year, but havent got the chance to do so, cos my stupid compaq committed suicide (got my new desktop liao :)). But you know what? I dont think you'll like to read so much words right? A picture paints a thousand words, so HERE IT IS! A photo journey of my past few days. Enjoy!

That's my grandma's house. It's uber huge. TCS has filmed chinese dramas there before. To me, it brings back fond memories of my childhood, where i used to play, as well as where my father grew up. I just can't express how much this place means to me.
We had new year gathering there, and we had very good food, all cooked in-house by my relatives, including the traditional Shanghainese nian gao, steamed fish, abalone, and suckling pig! I didn't take any pictures during the dinner simply because
i'm not very close to my paternal side of the family. But anywho...

This has got to be one of the best new year i've ever had. Ang Pows aside, i found myself spending a lot more time with my relatives (maternal), getting to know my aunties and uncles better. We went to Party World KTV and had great fun, and even went to watch Memoirs of a Geisha. Just amazing.
Ahh the sun, the sand and the sea. Went fishing at Sembawang with andrew, cheryl, janna and wesley. Wesley being the pro, was the only one who caught a fish that day, a nice leatherjacket. Too bad it was too small to keep, so we released it back into the sea. Shall i say that it was a lousy fishing spot? Haha was told that changi's a little better, but c'mon, whoever's heard of good fishing in Singapore anyways?? One day we'll go visit a kelong yea?? That day was fun. We got out of the house at 7 plus and we fished til about 4 plus. The sun was so hot that we were all sunburnt! My skin was pink and it started peeling today. Not a pretty sight, but thank God for aloe vera.

Anyway, i hope to add more pics to my future blog posts. But til then, please feel encouraged to add a comment or tag my board. God bless you all, and a belated Happy Spring Festival! :)
