smells!!!
rushed my flash assignment today. not going to comment anything about it; i'll let the results speak for themselves whether good or bad.
anyway, went out to buy some stuff today with angel. so sad that the rest couldn't join us. met joyce by coincidence at buona vista mrt but she couldn't join us as she was late for some function in school. on our way there, we entered an mrt train which smelt like someone had pee-ed on the floor. disgusting smell. then we made our way first to sasa at wisma where the smell of perfume hit us hard on the nose. looked around and bought nothing as usual and left the shop, only to be hit in the nose by the strong smell of famous amos cookies. headed for dinner at taka when we walked past a giorgio armani showcase and they were giving out sample cards. the smell of quality perfume once again hit our noses. went to KFC for dinner, where we smelled the smell of deep fried oil-filled chicken. after that, we headed down to the big area in ngee ann city where they always have cars on display. this time it was korean automaker kia. we went round to all the cars like the cerato, carnival, etc. and took a deep whiff of the lovely new car smell which i really like. after that aromatic experience, it was off to lucky plaza where we smelled and smelled and finally settled on the perfume of choice. will reveal which one later. after that we headed back to wisma via the underpass and once again took more sample cards from the giorgio armani showcase. i fell in love with the armani white pour homme and am secretly wishing someone would buy it for me. went into hallmark where we spent quite some time staring at wrapping materials. i decided to conveniently leave my armani classic sample card there just to get rid of it, and we ended up leaving and buying nothing. we left for the model shop nearby to lust over the diecast metal. then we left and decided to go for some coffee at coffeeclub and though we didn't drink coffee in the end, we did smell the great aroma of quality coffee. i had a rambutan freeze and angel had a summer tea freeze, an ice-blended tea with hints of lemon juice. we then got news that jerry had finally been kicked out of sg idol (about time), and then headed back to hallmark. the people there must be thinking, 'those two again, i'll bet they won't actually buy anything'. We did. wrapping paper. and yea, i took back my armani classic card to smell smell before throwing it away again.
shopping done. had a call from rachel and we talked all the way till i reached my doorstep. i love her loads.
so that was my day summarised in a few paragraphs. PEOPLE!! don't take your nose for granted! smell anything and everything and appreciate it no matter how good or now bad!!! =p
