fort canning
Fort Canning Park is simply beautiful. Today (Fri) felt like some school holiday back in the secondary school days. The sun always seems to shine brighter then. Didn't manage to finish radio assignment by 11am, so bopian, one day late. bleah. what a cruel world. Anyway, around 5pm, we left NP for carrefour at PS, bought lotsa stuff like canned tuna, bread, drinks and even a choc cake! (which we didn't finish). Then we walked to fort canning park..but first we walked thru park mall to look at those beautiful designer furniture as well as to pee pee. Once that was done, we walked this really lovely underpass to fort canning. It looked like some rustic forbidden castle tunnel of some sort; one that Batman would probably use too lol. Walked up many flights of steps only to find out we walked the wrong way, so we had to go down and walk a different way, interrupting a couple's lovey-dovey moment. We finally reached a nice spot right in front of the main building, where our only source of light was from some nearby fountain with a lion's head. (scary). Nadiah was half the time scared of getting caught until one of us told her we were in the public area and not the country club. We ate and talked, ate and talked; many bats flying above our heads, and hoping they wouldn't drop their guano on us. Then we decided to play some music from nad's laptop and danced around like mad freaks. Then when we were tired, we had a nice long chat, and even confessed our likes and dislikes about each other. It was a real intimate moment, but at the end of it, we just wanted to hug each other. We took lotsa photos in funny funny poses. Then Fiona lost her earring! But miracle of the day, Yihan found it! I mean, it was really like looking for a needle in a haystack. Her earring was small and flat, smaller than a fingernail, and WOW, it was found!
All in all, i had a fantastic time with you guys. I hope that we can do it again, and that more people can join us too! =)
