cycling trip
this morning at 1am i snug out of my house, hopped onto my bike and cycled from my place at ulu pandan all the way to changi airport. when i got there it was already 5am. first, i set out towards the direction of orchard road, followed by around the esplanade area. then i found my way up the pavement of he benjamin sheares bridge, before getting down near meyer road in katong, and travelling from one end of east coast park to the other, before finding myself next to the runway of changi airport! mission accomplished! man i was so tired, and i had a great time watching the planes take off and landing. i even managed to catch the singapore airlines A345 from Los Angeles landing and a northwest airlines cargo plane take off-not something you see everyday because they always land at that hour. it was really quite a treat!
reached home at around 6am. my parents found out and i didn't really get a lecture. instead my dad told me to call him next time if i wanted to do it so that he could join me. as for my mom, she was all like concern for my safety and my heart condition and all so yeah. but i'm thankful for it. so. anyone up for a midnite cycling trip?? =)
